Arrivederci, Roma...Next Stop, Chisinau

Our time in Rome has come to an end.  This is an amazing city with one of the richest histories in the world.  While here, we have seen ancient ruins still standing in the middle of what has become a modern city, Romans going about their daily lives around the Coliseum and the Pantheon.  Vatican City is a city within a city, a sovereign city-state all on its own.  Fashion powerhouses have multiple stand-alone storefronts on some of the most famous streets on the planet, and wine, pasta, and cheese are abundant.

This blog is not about my trip to Rome, but I wanted to include a few photos to show everyone how we kicked off our European visit.
